What is Maxways?
Maxways is Microgaming's own name for a variable-ways layout: reel heights change from spin to spin, so the number of paths changes with them. The exact heights and any extra reel are set per game.
What to check in the demo
- Read the minimum and maximum height of each reel in the demo's info screen.
- Check whether an extra horizontal reel adds symbols above the grid.
- Remember a ways count is a number of paths, not a payout.
