When the theme does the UI's job
A collection game has to put a counter on screen, and where that counter goes shapes the whole layout. This build borrows a ready-made metaphor: the scoreboard.
Players already know what a scoreboard does, so "numbers accumulate over there" needs no explanation. One well-chosen metaphor deleted a page of tutorial.
It is a clean example of theme selection as information design rather than decoration.

Screen and information design
The numeral symbols (1, 2, 3) sit on both sides of the line: they are shirt numbers and values at once, so reading the symbol is reading the value.
The crowd detail in the background is overdone, though. It keeps moving behind the symbols and becomes tiring over a long session.
Strengths

- Overactive crowd animation causes visual fatigue
- Little differentiation within the Link & Merge family

Verdict
The mechanic is series-standard, but the craft in welding theme to UI is the best in this set.
