Go! Fishing: Reelin' Fortunes is a 5-reel, 20-line fishing slot released on 14 May 2025, with a published RTP of 96.05% and Medium-high volatility. It shares its format with the catalogue's other fishing title, Fish 'Em Up, but the two publish very different amounts of information.

Overview
Go! Fishing: Reelin' Fortunes is a video slot Microgaming released on 14 May 2025. Its only theme tag is Fishing, and the format is 5 reels and 20 lines. Pizza Fiesta and Arctic Wolf Triple Riches carry the same release date, so three titles went out on one day.
Published fields are an RTP of 96.05%, Medium-high volatility, the format and the release date. Max win and bet range are not published.
Layout and rules
Five reels and 20 lines is the most widely used format label in Microgaming's catalogue. Twenty-one of the 142 titles share it, and 13 of those publish an RTP. Fish 'Em Up, the comparison point for this review, is one of the 21.
Line placement, symbol payouts and features such as free spins are not on the spec sheet. The 'Reelin'' in the subtitle calls to mind both winding in a fishing line and a slot's reels, but the name tells you nothing about the rules. Those have to be checked in the in-game help screen.

Two fishing titles: Fish 'Em Up
Only two Microgaming titles are named for fishing: this one and Fish 'Em Up™. Both are 5 reels and 20 lines, so the format label can't tell them apart.
Where they differ is volatility and disclosure. Go! Fishing is Medium-high; Fish 'Em Up is High, one grade apart. Fish 'Em Up also publishes no RTP and no release date, so there's no way to compare their theoretical returns or even say which came first.
That leaves a single documented difference: the volatility grade. The most that can be said is that two games with the same format and subject were tuned to spread results differently. Anything beyond that means opening both demos in turn and comparing on screen; demos are available for both.
Reading the numbers
The published 96.05% sits 0.07 points below the studio median of 96.12%. Among the 13 twenty-line titles that publish an RTP it ranks eighth, between Gods & Pyramids Power Combo at the top (96.86%) and Mega Magic Spell at the bottom (92.07%).
Within that same-day trio, Pizza Fiesta lists 96.08% (20 lines, High) and Arctic Wolf Triple Riches 96.18% (2400 ways, High). Go! Fishing has the lowest RTP of the three and is the only one not graded High. Among 20-line titles, Medium-high appears just twice: here and on Hatching Gold! Rooster's Riches (96.46%).
One more point: the gap between 96.05% and 96.18% only means something across an extremely long calculation. Trying to feel that difference by switching between the two games during a short demo session doesn't work.
Presentation
The cover shows a heavily bearded angler in a green bucket hat and vest holding up a freshly caught fish in one hand. A red floral shirt shows under the vest, and his other hand grips a bent rod. Behind him is a boat fitted with a steering wheel and a life ring; in front, a burst of spray.
The title stacks 'GO!' and 'FISHING' in large type with the subtitle set smaller on a band below. The exaggerated cartoon expression keeps the mood light, but the cap and bet range the spec sheet leaves blank don't appear anywhere in the art. The demo's information screen is the accurate place to fill those in.
Strengths
- RTP and volatility are published
- The common 20-line format gives plenty of titles to compare against
- Demos let you compare it on screen with Fish 'Em Up
Weak points
- Max win is not published
- Bet range is not published
- Its RTP can't be compared with Fish 'Em Up, which doesn't publish one
Verdict
Go! Fishing: Reelin' Fortunes sets an uncommon Medium-high grade on the catalogue's most common format. The published data separates it from Fish 'Em Up by one volatility grade only, so any further difference is best checked by opening the two demos side by side.
