Overview

Hades Lost Treasures is a video slot Microgaming released on 30 October 2024, tagged Greek and Mythology. Its format is recorded as 5 reels · 3125 Ways, and that ways count appears on no other title among the catalogue's 142.

What's published stops at RTP, volatility, format and release date. There is no max win and no bet range. Because Microgaming's other Greek-myth titles publish fairly detailed specs, this review measures Hades against those neighbours to pin down how much its own sheet actually tells you.

Layout and rules

A ways game settles wins by checking whether matching symbols continue across adjacent reels, rather than following fixed lines. The number of rows per reel that produces 3125 ways isn't recorded, though, so the spec sheet alone can't fix how many rows the screen has.

A 'BUY FEATURE' banner runs along the bottom of the cover. The catalogue has no feature field, so how that banner works, and under what conditions, is a question for the help screen. Wilds, free spins and symbol payouts are likewise outside what this review can cover.

Hades in the Greek-myth line-up

Six Microgaming Greek-myth slots have a published release date. In order: Almighty Athena Empire (September 2024), Hades Lost Treasures (October 2024), Almighty Dionysus Empire (January 2025), Almighty Poseidon Empire (April 2025), Ancient Treasure: Poseidon (November 2025) and K-POP Hunter Zeus (June 2026). Hades is second, and the first without 'Almighty' in its name.

Five of the six publish a max win, ranging from 2,000x to 50,000x, and all five also list a bet range. Hades is the only one with both fields empty. Disclosure varying this much within a single theme group is worth keeping in mind whenever these titles are compared.

On RTP, Hades sits near the top of the group. Athena's 96.24% is followed directly by Hades at 96.23%, then Dionysus at 96.22%, Poseidon Empire at 96.19%, Ancient Treasure: Poseidon at 96.10% and K-POP Hunter Zeus at 95.91%. Apart from K-POP Hunter Zeus (Very high), every one is graded High.

Reading the numbers

At 96.23%, the RTP is 0.11 points above the 96.12% median of the 90 Microgaming titles that publish one. Twenty-four publish a higher figure, and Luna Princess Link&Merge and SPIES - Operation Fortune Power Combo publish the same value.

It's tempting to link a number as large as 3125 to the cap or to how often wins land, but a ways count only tells you how many paths a win can be settled on. With max win and hit frequency both unpublished, there's no basis for deriving either from it.

Presentation

Hades appears on the cover with violet, blue-tinged skin and a crown sprouting flames, grinning with both hands spread like claws. A skull ornament sits at the centre of his breastplate, and a red cape and gold pauldrons play against the cold skin tone.

The background builds an underworld from stone columns set in a space burning red like lava. Where the Almighty Poseidon Empire cover in the same myth group is washed in blue water, this one picks the opposite palette, so it's easy to pick out in a list. A demo is available to see how many rows the ways screen uses and what the cover's BUY FEATURE refers to.

Strengths

  • Its published RTP is second-highest in the Greek-myth group
  • 3125 ways is a format no other title in the catalogue uses
  • The demo shows the row layout and features directly

Weak points

  • Max win is not published
  • Bet range is not published
  • Rows per reel and feature rules are not on the spec sheet

Verdict

Hades Lost Treasures has a clear position on RTP and format, but leaves empty the cap and bet fields its mythological neighbours fill in. Those two fields belong to the demo's information screen, not to guesswork.
