How to read minimum and maximum bet listings

Of the 2,316 slots in this catalogue, 885 publish both a minimum and a maximum bet. Here is which studios publish them, the typical values, the widest and narrowest ranges, the absence of any currency unit, and the single RTP each title lists regardless of stake.

Who publishes a range, and who does not

Microgaming publishes both a minimum and a maximum bet for 51 of its 142 slots. Play'n GO does so for all 469, Nolimit City for all 138, and NetEnt for 227 of 230. Together that puts a range on 885 of the catalogue's 2,316 slots.

Pragmatic Play lists a minimum bet for all 729 of its slots but no maximum. Habanero (204), Booongo (201), PG Soft (172) and Hacksaw Gaming (31) publish neither.

An empty field means “not published”, not “no limit”. The same goes for Pragmatic's missing maximums; the site does not fill them from other games.

Typical values

Among the 885 slots with a range, the most common pairs are 0.1–100 (230 titles) and 0.2–100 (219). A maximum of 100 appears on 561 of the 885, a minimum of 0.1 on 332.

Each studio has its own defaults. Microgaming's most common minimum is 0.10 (17 of 51) and its most common maximum 20 (10 titles), with a median maximum of 50. Play'n GO has a maximum of 100 on 402 of 469; Nolimit City has a minimum of 0.2 and a maximum of 100 on 116 of 138 each. NetEnt's most common minimum is 0.2 (103 titles) and its median maximum is 125. Pragmatic's minimum is 0.2 on 379 of 729.

Dividing the maximum by the minimum gives a median of 1,000, and exactly 1,000 is the single most common value (294 titles). By studio the median is 1,000 for Play'n GO and NetEnt, and 500 for Microgaming and Nolimit City (simple max ÷ min arithmetic).

The widest and the narrowest

By ratio, the widest are Play'n GO's European Roulette Pro (0.01–1000) and Money Wheel (0.01–500) — both non-reel games listed among the slots. Among reel games, Microgaming's African Wilds and Lucky Shot run 0.01–300, a ratio of 30,000, followed by Play'n GO's Stadium of Riches at 0.01–100. Microgaming's highest listed maximum is 500, on titles such as Nashville 777 Retro Roller and Cherry Red Retro Roller.

At the narrow end sit Nolimit City's El Paso Gunfight xNudge (0.25–1, a ratio of 4) and Deadwood xNudge (0.2–1, 5), and NetEnt's Mega Joker (1–10, 10) and Jackpot 6000 (0.1–2, 20). For Microgaming, 0.20–20.00 (a ratio of 100) is among the narrowest; Whale Rush is one example. Only 8 of the 885 have a ratio below 100.

A wide range means more stake steps to choose from — not that the game is more or less generous. A range says nothing about results.

No unit is stated

Every bet value in the catalogue is a bare number. None carries a currency symbol or code, so the site does not convert “0.10–20.00” into won or dollars. The actual unit and steps are in the game's own bet panel — and demos run on play money.

Notation is not consistent even within one studio. Microgaming writes some values to two decimals (“20.00”) and others as whole numbers (“90”). Where the value is the same, the notation means nothing.

The data also does not say whether a figure is the total stake per spin or a per-line stake. That is why the site's game pages mark bet ranges as reference values that can differ by game version or market.

One RTP per title, whatever the stake

The catalogue gives each title a single RTP field. None of the 885 titles with a range lists a different RTP by stake size, and 5 leave RTP empty. The data simply holds no link between RTP and stake: a higher maximum bet does not come with a different listed RTP.

Some studios, such as Habanero, put several values in the RTP field, but those are build lists, not per-stake figures — and Habanero publishes no bet range at all. RTP builds are covered in “Same game, different RTP — the idea of a configuration”.

Reading tips

First, check that both ends are there; if only a minimum is listed, the maximum is unpublished. Then work out the max ÷ min ratio — it makes comparison with the studio's other titles easy. In this catalogue 500 and 1,000 are common, and anything under 100 is rare.

If you open a demo, the bet panel is where to note the unit, the steps, and whether the figure is per spin or per line. None of that is in the catalogue, so if you could not confirm it, “not confirmed” is the accurate note.
